Although she draws inspiration from artists such as Lianne LaHavas, Carole King and Fleetwood Mac, She reminds me of Alanis Morissette and Colbie Caillat.
“If I start to Panic, God help me”
is part of the lyrics from the hook to the song “Panic” by Corzine. If you ask me it sounds to me like this song is about someone who is fighting demons within themselves. A lot of us can relate to this because we doubt ourselves all the time. We are never sure of anything. We struggle within ourselves and even ask people around us for the right answers but they dont really know themselves. In the end we end up doubting ourselves and that brings panic in our lives. Listen to “Panic” and just perhaps you might get a solution on how to fight panicking.
Hayley Lewis who goes by the artist name ” Corzine” was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. At the age of 15, She started writing songs on the ukulele and piano.
Corzine’s style could be described as indie R&B. She draws inspiration from her life experiences, ranging from youthful romance, struggles with anxiety and trying to let go of a past that won’t let go of her. Corzine’s first EP is a deeply personal and well-rounded representation of her range as an artist, and is a promising Indicator of just how far she can go.
Although she draws inspiration from artists such as Lianne LaHavas, Carole King and Fleetwood Mac, She reminds me of Alanis Morissette and Colbie Caillat.
