The minute you hear Luani you think you listening to Geogre Michael. Luani’s voice is quite similar but a bit more better and higher octave than Geogre Michael. He is a mix between pop and new age R&B but you also hear a little bit of EDM in his music. We got a chance to interview this Sweden based Artist and heres what he had to say below:
Can you please tell our readers your real name as well as your stage name?
A: My name is Albin Loán (not loan) and my artist name is Luani.
Q: Where are you from and Where were you based?
A: I’m originally from Kosovo, Albania with both parents, but I’m based in Sweden and have lived here almost all my life.
Q: At What age did you start making music?
A: I started rap when I was 13 years old and then learned to produce simple instrumentals in HipHop Ejay I remember. Then it kept going until I started singing about when I was 16-17.
Q: What genre of music do you love? Or what genre would you consider yourself?
A: When I’m not creating myself I actually listens to classical music, like Hans Zimmer and such, but I love Pop, indie, EDM and most of the genres depending on the mood.
My genre? Hm.. I guess it’s experimental Pop and new age R&B from a cinematic planet I guess. The instrumentals that I compose and produce has that kinda HipHop vibe to it, but I mix it up with pop arrangements and cinematic sounds such as strings and big electric pads and such. You will not hear so much of that sound until later on my journey.
Q: Tell us about your upcoming new track ? ( what is it all about)-Please explain the concept or message behind it:
A: Mirror Mirror is about my ex releationship actually. I know that I’m not a super pro boyfriend always and understand my own flaws and challanges, but she had a way to project her weaknesses and challenges on me without checking herself in the mirror.
I wrote the song to inspire other people who are in a similar situation, for them to stand up for themselves, to not let them be pushed down by negativity but instead learn to love themselves even more through self-empowerment, to basically say fuck off.

Q: Who wrote it? And will you be making a video to it?
A: I wrote both music and topline and got some help lyrically from my friend and college Simon Rasmussen from Denmark. He’s a great guy and is a better lyricist than me so I usually start the lyric idea and he comes in and help me close it. :slightly_smiling_face:
Maybe there will be, I’m not sure actually, but stay tuned for my YouTube channel because I will upload the video there if it’s gonna happen.
Q: What inspired you to write this new track
A: My ex girlfriend.
Q: Where do you get your musical inspiration?
A: So many different inspirations. I’ve listened alot on Hip Hop such as Bone Thugs N’ harmony, 2Pac, Eminem when I was younger, but since I started singing it’s been alot of Mj, Chris Brown, Post Malone, Justin Timberlake and many more.
My past life is also a big musical inspiration for me since I’ve been a fosterchild half my life with many families and situations in the back. It all comes together more and more, both lyrically and musically.
Q: If you were given a chance, which Artist would you love to perform with?
A: Oh, well. The list would be very long, but some of the artists I would love to work with would be Pharell because he’s damn cool and unique and also very talented. Chris Brown because he’s really supportive of new talents. Ed Sheeran, Justin Timberlake, Stanaj, Dua Lipa, Timbaland, Usher and of course Hans Zimmer which would be in the top 3.
Q: Where can fans find you? List all your social media links
