“Heaven 4 A Gangster” pays tribute to American hip-hop artist, 2pac and how he would be revolted if he were to witness life today.

On September 7, 1996, 2pac was fatally gunned down in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was rushed to the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada, where he died a week later from his injuries.

His murder remains unsolved. 21 years since his murder, the legend of 2Pac is still alive and well, most recently in the Benny Boom-directed biopic All Eyez on Me that dropped this past June.

The Game pays tribute to Shakur with a new record titled “Heaven 4 a Gangster,” which will be used in the upcoming A&E docuseries Who Killed Tupac? On “Heaven 4 a Gangster,” Game raps about how ‘Pac would feel if he was still alive in 2017.

“My cousin Tasha shot in the stomach, pregnant at 19/She died, but the baby kept stompin’/That how hard us little niggas come up/Born and raised in Compton/We earned this shit, we learnt this shit/City used to be all white/Look how we turned this shit/2Pac turning in his grave from all this nonsense/A little soldier ain’t from Compton/I put that on the homies,” he raps.

Who Killed Tupac? will be airing a six-part limited series produced by Renegade 83 in association with FGW Productions. The series follows civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump as he conducts an investigation twenty years after the tragic murder of the late historical icon.
