Lately I’ve been feeling like a Ghost, lost and I aint got no where to go, reaching out for help but no one knows, it’s a feeling that I know all too well”.  These are the lyrics to the hook of “Ghost”, the latest song and video from Chazzy. And award for best visiuals 2019 goes to Ghost by Chazzy.

This video is definitely a master piece cos it depicts the lyrics the artist is singing about.  When you watch it, you definitely feel the pain and sorrow within which the artist wishes to convey.  It is almost hard to believe that he is acting this out cos he makes you feel every emotion with his movement and expressions. It feels as though he is filming his reality and we are just spectators watching.

Chazzy did a wonderful job with not only the music but also the visuals.  Take the time out to really listen and watch it and you will be amazed.

Meanwhile, we took the time out to interview him and get little bit of info on him.  Check out the interview down below.

Q: Can you please tell our readers your real name as well as your stage name?
A: I go by Chazzy, which is a slight variation to my real name, simply: Chaz.

Q: Where are you from and Where were you based?
A: I have New York roots on one side of my family, then southern roots on the other side. I currently reside in California.

Q: At What age did you start making music?
A: Very young actually. My father and uncle were in bands. I was always in the studio with them. At a very young age, I was already up on the stage singing Pearl Jam, Soundgarden songs and more. I was even in the studio with KoRn as a child! I was just present, didn’t work on anything, just a kid. Ended up in bands as I grew and then around the age of 13 or so, it took a more hip hop based turned. In my teens, I decided it was something I truly loved to do. Music in general. So, I aimed for it.

Q: What genre of music do you love? Or what genre would you consider yourself?(e.g- Rock? Blues? Hip-Hop? RnB?)
A: You know, that’s a hard one. I’ve been questioning that myself lately. Obviously, being that I do have rap records, rap/hip hop. But are my singing records labeled as RnB? I’m not so sure.

Q: Tell us about your latest track or Video ( what is it all about)–Please explain the concept or message behind it:

A: The song is titled “Ghost”, and it’s about feeling lost, empty and invisible. For myself, it has a double meaning of feeling these ways within music & relationships.

The first verse opens by stating that I feel, in my mind, I’ve stood up against everything everyone’s ever thrown at me, but yet I feel as though it’s still not enough; still feel ignored. I’m not ashamed to say that I tend to suffer from anxiety, and the song touches on the subject a bit as well, and how I try to hide it.

Q: Who wrote it?
A:. Me, myself and I.

Q: What inspired you to write this new track
A: My feelings of feeling lost within myself, lost within music, lost within relationships.

Q: Where do you get your musical inspiration?
A: Life. The things I go through, the troubles, the struggles…the things I see around me. The stories I hear and the stories I have to tell.

Q: If you were given a chance, which Artist would you love to perform with?
A: It changes and varies, but currently? Mike Shinoda.
