Vassy Is Out With New Track Featuring Lodato Entitled “Doomsday”

If you were to clone Micheal Jackson and Prince together, you would get the Master piece known as Danjul.  He can dance, he can sing, he can play musical instruments, he can perform, he stands out, and most of all he is captivating and mesmerizing.

He recently released a work of art called “Dance to the Moon” and according to the Master piece himself  “Dance to the Moon is the quintessential trance/dance experience which will take you out of your body and out of this world”.  Topafricmusivideo.com got the privelege to do a one on one interview with Danjul about himself and his music. Read and enjoy:

Q: Can you please tell our readers your real name as well as your stage name?
A: Well if I told them my real name it wouldn’t be a mystery! Mystery is key (wink) but my stage name is Danjul. The origin of my stage name is based off my real name (hint hint) haha.

Q: Where are you from and Where were you based?
A: All I know is that my mom told me I was brought to her inside an egg. And once I hatched, there I was! We resided in Inglewood CA than moved to a city called Covina CA. Where I had to learn how to be less weird lol.

Q: At What age did you start making music?
A: I knew I had the gift of music when I was very young. But I was too afraid to showcase it. I was never taught, or put in classes we never had the money. I taught myself how to write and harmonize and dance.

Q: What genre of music do you love? Or what genre would you consider yourself? (e.g- Rock? Blues? Hip-Hop? RnB?)
A: I like all kinds but my favorite is pop music. My producers and I are still really trying to figure out my sound. But it’s mainly pop. With elements of a cinematic feel.

Q: Tell us about your latest track or Video ( what is it all about)-Please explain the concept or message behind it:
A:
I am proud to present, “Dance to the Moon”, a rare but magnificent listening experience for you, and the world to behold. My work encompasses several different elements which include the art of storytelling, pop infusions and cinematic essence. The song embodies raw emotion while transporting you into another dimension. Ultimately, “Dance to the Moon” is the quintessential trance/dance experience which will take you out of your body and out of this world. As for the video, I didn’t have the money to create a live action video with myself haha so I just joined up with a very talented special effects videographer named Austin Barzetti! We just consider it as a epic virtual visual rollercoaster.

Q: Who wrote it?
A:. Myself and my producer of the track Mitch Maanao.

Q: What inspired you to write this new track
A: I actually had a more pop sound for this song but my producer Mitch Maanao persuaded me to try a dance sound for the song. I trusted him and we went for it! I hope you guys like it.

Q: Where do you get your musical inspiration?
A: Growing up I really couldn’t express myself so I would write in my journal and it was the only outlet I had to say how I felt. And a very special human being named Michael Jackson I saw on TV one day and was mesmerized by the way he captivated millions by his voice and art of performance.

Q: If you were given a chance, which Artist would you love to perform with?
A:
Michael Jackson…
