I grew up in a small village where i went to school and i lived with my dad and my step brothers and sisters. Growing up was really hard because i was white in a land where everyone else was black, so i faced alot of oppression, and people looked down on me just because of my complexion. When i finished from my secondary school, i discovered i had the gift of music and i wanted to follow my dream of being a star with all my heart. Just at the point when i was about to get into the University, i lost my dad and there was nobody to see me through school, my step brothers and sisters turned their backs on me and my younger ones and we had no one to help us. So i would go from studio to studio doing backup vocals for other artistes and they would give me something small for my work. With this, i paid my way through school and even when everyone thought i couldn’t achieve nothing, i never let it get me down because i believed in myself and in my dreams. Not long after i graduated, my friends told me about this record label from Germany that was looking to sign artistes and they wanted to go for auditioning and they wanted me to come with them. I decided to go just for the fun of it. When we got there i auditioned last and they said they were going to contact us if we made their list. The next day i got a call asking me to come down to the label headquarters and i did and they told me they were interested in signing me. I didn’t know what to say as i was speechless, how could i have been chosen among everybody else? It felt like a dream but it wasn’t long after, i got signed and that’s how i came on board New Biz Records. And ever since then its been an awesome experience making great music that’s being appreciated all over the world.
